Today was first visit to PCS having booked in for a gearbox service on the E320 CDi and despite arriving 20 minutes before official opening time I was warmly greeted and given directions to a local Cafe (Nico's,) where I had a very good breakfast and coffee!About 90 minutes later the service was complete and I was on my way. with a gearbox is that certainly smoother and more responsive!An excellent level of service overall and a highly recommended garage.
I'm writing this review to warn other potential customers. As it turned out you added incorrect ATF to one of the vehicles you have serviced. I've attached 2 photo's as a proof . ATF 134 and ATF134 FE are so different fluids not just in colour. For you is just few litres of transmission fluid for us customers potentially worth 1000s worth problem
My 300CE-24 was substantially overhauled by PCS during May and October 2017. Only recently have I and my son been driving it a bit more.Overall, the project was a 100% success. To quote my son, "It drives like a new car". I agree with him.It's 27 years old and now has 420K Kms on the clock so there are still a few issues, but these are entirely separate to the PCS project. In fact, I am considering bringing the car back (it's about 1000 km and a ferry ride away) to PCS for some icing on the cake.So, full marks.RayHWell, I've brought it back and on the 31st July took it for the Controle Technique. Well, that was satisfying.The 300CE absolutely sailed through the CT with many gasps of amazement from the chap in charge. He was well impressed with everything, especially the newly protected undersides, the brakes and the suspension.I noticed what appears to be a split in the cat. He confirmed it but said it was not leaking due to there being 2 layers in the structure. Happily, I have a brand new cat in the cellar and that can go on before the next CT in 2 years.So, it's "Well done Team PCS in Horndean". RayHPS: It's bloody cold in that car, despite 35C outside.
