A wonderful place for a good walk. There are different paths to suit your walking ability and energy levels as well as cycle paths. There are defined picnic areas and you can even book up a barbecue. There are toilets, a shop and cafe at the main car park.
Huge park with a big hill. The purple track its about 7.5 km with an up and Down of 300mt. There are playing areas and exercises camp. You can go there for a run with a bike or for a run. The car park it's OK 5 pounds all day. There is a restaurant and services.
Fantastic park, easy to get to. Good parking at a fair price (2 up to an hour, 3 over an hour for cars). Excellent clean facilities, great cafe. Several walks of different lengths, with separate trails for mountain biking. Great place for photography.
Great day with plenty to do. We hired a BBQ area which was wonderful except for all the dog walkers who couldn't control there pets and stop them from walking through our picnic/party. Suggest a rule that says dogs have to be kept on leads until clear of the playing/pocnic area. Would also make sense if the parking at the top could be payed with cash and not just card. But the day was really good for the kids and very reasonably priced. Adequate toilet facilities and good parking.
Brilliant outdoor facility with BBQ pitches, kids play areas, dog training area and lots of walking paths and off-road cycle routes. Nice cafe and shop with helpful staff. Car parking has gone all hi tech but it all seems to get spent in the park. Wonderful place.
