Managed to find us a table at very short notice on a Saturday night. Greeted by a male member of staff who was very polite and friendly, food very good, exceptional service by Sam ( think that was her name). Only downside was the restaurant was very cold but the fantastic customer service and food quality made up for it.If in area again, we will definitely be back. Thanks.
Food was good, very busy pub. Although waiter managed to take our money and pay another tables bill, then asked us for another 58. Took 20 mins and a manager to sort it out.
Excellent service, food , served by happy well trained staff. Would not go anywhere else. Well done to all at the Red Lion
The main course was absolutely fabulous. The dessert however should be reported to trade descriptions! Sticky toffee pudding (or toffee apple tart) with ice cream comes with the ice cream in a stupid little bowl that holds LESS than a dessert spoon of ice cream. Go for the main course but MISS the dessert!
Food was good as always, but the manager ( I believe that is who he is ) is not the friendliest of people. The waiting staff are friendly and polite, but the unfriendly management does put me off slightly. It was also quite cold in the restaurant where we ate.
